Why We Built This Site
Colorado provides several public record routes, but each answers a different question. The Teller County Sheriff's Office keeps its reports and detention files. Teller Combined Court keeps filed charges and dispositions. CBI maintains statewide fingerprint-linked criminal history, while CDOC and the Colorado Sex Offender Registry publish narrower custody or registration information. The site arranges verified contacts, request steps, fees, and search links by the office that controls the record.
What You Will Find Here

- Official check instructions: CBI name-based and fingerprint self-review options
- Record guides: ways to search and read Teller County criminal case files
- Record restriction information: Colorado sealing forms, filing steps, and downstream processing
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Colorado court, sheriff's office, police department, or state agency. Its limits include:
- We do not issue certified court files, CHRI, or sheriff records.
- We cannot submit sealing petitions or public-record requests for a visitor.
- We do not run an official criminal history check.
- We cannot apply Colorado law to a person's charge or case.
- We cannot promise that an agency will keep every fee, address, or phone line unchanged.
An official copy must come from the Teller sheriff, the filing court, CBI, or the other government office that maintains the original.
Search Partners
Outside providers power some search boxes. They control their products, prices, data practices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports site operation. The provider, not Teller County Criminal History, is responsible for the service it supplies.
